My Full Review for Destiny Beta

I had a blast playing this beta. Special thanks and good job to all at Bungie. WEAPONS The weapons were very well done both in mechanics and in design. However, I feel that the variety was somewhat constricted. Perhaps and addition of a grenade launcher or alien-human hybrid gun might help with that. Speaking of variety, don't be afraid to go with more bright colors and new skins for weapons. I'm afraid I couldn't figure out how to effectively use the Hand Cannon. I feel it would be better used as a Special Weapon will the damage increased a bit. The only real annoyance I had with them is the stability factor. I know that it makes them unique but when firing from afar I figured that if I crouched then my accuracy would increase. I didn't notice a difference in firing when crouched or while standing. I feel that a slight increase in stability would add the needed realism. ENEMIES The enemies fit this game very well. I like that the squads are composed of different types of enemies. However, with every game. You can predict what enemies are going to appear where when you've played through that mission more than once. Perhaps if the enemies scripts and squads were swapped for different ones occasionally when discovering them it would make for much more realism and wouldn't be so repetitive. GEAR Personally I love customization in games. This game has done well to include that. I do feel that a little more is needed though, especially for a game this large. Maybe more options in the character builder and more designs for class armors. Also, Its good to be rewarded when defeating enemies. I get a lot from defeating easy infantry but it feels like I should be getting more from larger and challenging bosses. MULTIPLAYER I will admit I'm not an expert. Lets just go with above average. I'm all about competitive team gameplay such as in Halo and COD. The multiplayer was certainly unique. I know that no matter what certain aspects are going to need adjustment. The main problem I had was that the whole time in the Crucible I felt I was overpowered by the opposing team, in skill and in weapon strength. All I ask is that the teams will be separated by skill not by level. CONCLUSION I'm very excited to get this game. Much more story and integrations have to be added for this to fit the games scale, to truly make this a new exciting world. Please Bungie, do head the fans and be open. Great job so far and good luck.
