After hearing that Destiny wont be a smooth 60 frames per second on next generation consoles simply because Bungie wants the experience to be the same on last generation consoles really disappointed me. I bought an Xbox One just for Destiny and to have the best Destiny experience and I'm being limited because of 10 year old consoles. Bungie big mistake, why would you do this?

Edited by Primal Daemon: 7/22/2014 7:20:34 PMNot everyone can or wants to buy a new console just yet. In truth, quite a few gamers prefer to wait a year for the second or third gen of whichever platform to be out. By that point in time, the price has become more reasonable and the platform has less technical issues. If Bungie had ignored the previous gen in their development they would have had a rather small player base even including all systems. This is aside from the fact that many gamers would have felt like Bungie was forcing them to buy a new system in order to play Destiny. This in turn would have made them angry and, in my experience, at least, angry gamers don't buy nor play games made by the people who made them angry. Look at the drop in Xbox One preorders when MS announced DRM and always online. Angry gamers won. Regardless, I do not think Bungie made a mistake. I think they did the best they could for ALL gamers. Yes, they like money. What company doesn't? They like gamers, too. What company does? TLDR 1080P at 30 frames is fine. Remember, in two years, the old gen will no longer be supported. The next destiny game and perhaps the first DLC have a good chance of being 1080P with your 60 frames. Edit: I bought a PS4 this past March simply because of Destiny and I honestly couldn't care less about 30 frames. I get to play Destiny. Be happy with what you have..
