1. Why are levels bad?? It's like any other rpg game. It's meant to guide you along until you reach endgame. Ps. They didn't steal levels from borderlands 2. dlc isn't $40 each so there's that 3.the community is no worse than any game. Each title has their entitled pricks the elitist pricks and then the 6 y/o 4.why on earth should all guns have the same stats. That the point to grind for gear to play pvp. U clearly don't understand what type of game this is 5. Dancing is clearly a reason to cancel a pre order.... 6.why are class abilities bad?? It's the point of the game. There are 3 classes each with strengths and weaknesses. You choose which fits ur playstyle and head out 7. Why is clicking pause and going to switch character such a big deal. How come it doesn't work both ways? Pretty sure level 1 or 2 enemies still damage you regardless of your level. They should remove the level system and focus on improving combat up to par with halo. [b]4-Stats[/b] - Another unfair element this one stolen from CoD. All guns of the same category should have the same stats, again like in halo. But due to a luck/RNG favor rather than a fair/skill based system guns all have semi unique stats that carry into pvp even though level advantage is off. This is the reason why auto rifles such as the Shigen C are able to dominate all weapons unfairly. [b]5-Perks[/b] - The trifecta of lazy programming catering towards casual gamers. Perks on weapons that are unpredictable (RNG) and completely unfair (triple damage when zoomed, health regen/vampire, bonus damage, increased stability/reload, homing bullets/rockets, etc). These all carry into pvp even though level advantage is disabled. A Cydonia with triple zoom damage boost will always out snipe any other rifle. I even saw a perk for a sniper rifle (Supergoodadvice I think its called?) where while you zoom in it makes you invisible. Yeeeeeaaaaahhhh that's super fair. [b]6-Class Abilities[/b] - This ruined halo Reach. It will ruin Destiny. Its even worse now from the transistion of equal loadouts to building your own OP character that has the highest unfair advantage not based on skill but just on grinding experience alone. This might have been fine if it was Story mode only, however allowing custom class sets in pvp only ruins the game. Even with level advantage off, a kid without skill that grinds for a few days to unlock the entire skill tree and subclasses will always have unfair advantage over professional fps players that have skill but new characters, or even mature players that have busy lives and cant afford to grind in story mode, they simply want to play pvp but are frustrated level 20 warlocks keep destroying them with maxed out nova bombs and blink teleportation, and hunters that turn invisible and camp. [b]7-Lack of Content[/b]- The Beta was roughly 17% of the total game. The reasons there is such a shortage of content are very simple. Reason one is money- they can put out DLC packs for $40 each to expand the content. Reason 2 is multiconsole- Destiny is not a next gen game. It was built to run on PS3 and 360. The whole game fits on a standard DVD. It does not run at 60 FPS. It does not have local coop. It does not have 4 player coop. It also has loading screens like crazy. What a failure. Also Bungie already announced Destiny 2 and Destiny 3 before Destiny 1 is even out... way to milk the cash cow. I wonder will the sequels run on Nintendo 64? [b]8-British Accents/Poor Voice Actors[/b] - Its so painfully obvious Peter Dinkle should never have been selected to be the voice of ghost, that Bungie went through and ran his lackluster voice through a synthesizer. They also removed such classic lines as "That wizard came from the moon". Even worse than Dinklebot is the PVP announcer. He makes me want to fall asleep. What happened to the epic bungie PVP announcer from Halo? My friend Chuck [LeopardStealth], member of PrimeGuard (Datto, MoreConsole, etc) actually did a video showcasing how the PVP announcer could be improved. I say fire all the Brits and hire Chuck! You also cannot make loadouts or templates of your preferred gear set ups, such as close combat/ranged/solo/etc, rather you have to quickly manually switch inbetween loadscreens of every battle depending on the map. If you swap your shotgun for your sniper too late however, all your ammo magically goes the way of my hope for this game - it vanishes into an air of shock and disappointment. Remember kids, this is 2014. Stuff like this was okay in the 90's but I expect better especially from Bungie and their 500 million $ budget. [b]10- The Community[/b] - Yes that includes you. All who support this game are simply allowing Bungie to once again scam the world and profit. They did this with Halo Reach. I remember when Bungie's games used to be a unique and more tactical alternative to CoD.
