I just went to load up the level 2 mission in the cosmodrome and saw that there was a level 2 (easy) and level 5 (normal) challenge level. I'm level 8 and it'd be cool to have a decent selection of challenge levels so that we can always play that level regardless of our own level.
Example: In the full game if I was level 5 and wanted a fair challenge I could pick the level 5 challenge which would be highlighted as normal. But then I'd see a list of challenge levels ranging all the way just beyond level 20 (2-5-8-11-14-17-20-23-26 for example). I'd imagine while playing a level 5 character the level 5 challenge would say "Normal", the level 8 "Hard" and everything above it something like "legendary" or "unforgiving" or whatever they call it.
But then if I had completed the game and was level 20 but wanted to return to that level 2 mission I could pick the level 23 challenge and be able to play it again without being OP.
I'd also say that as my theoretical level 20 character, everything below level 17 challenge would be blocked off to prevent me from walking into another player's game and being so OP it ruins their experience.
I'm sure this isn't the best way of doing it, Bungie could figure something better out but I'd like to be able to play ALL the missions as a level capped character in the full game without worrying about being OP. Even if they added a level 20 challenge level to all missions once you reach the level cap.
