The Crucible Confession
I've seen quite a couple of posts about how one or two bad players in a PvP team can spoil it for everyone. I want to clear the air and admit - I am that terrible player. Look at my stats, no lies. I am sorry. If you see me in your team - despair!

It depends on your definition of bad. If you are playing by yourself you are bound to not do so hot. It's always better to play with a friend or two, communication will save you many deaths. If you are on ps4 add me and come play

Yeah I often vary myself from time to time. Sometimes I'm good and other times I'm failing hard and just stick to grabbing areas instead of hunting people!

Im and definitely horrible at it as well, but its still fun for me one round I actually got 11 kills and was so excited lol, but I do feel about not holding my own hoping practice will help as im just starting to get into pvp games, but it is a little intimidating.

11 RepliesIt was me too.. my K/D ratio is 8 to 0 (deaths to kills)! So WHY am WE being placed with Opponents with 2.4 K/D and WHITE SHIELDS? When most of us can't even aim fast enough and read the RADAR map? This is a Serious question that really needs to be addressed by Bungie. Don't you agree? Nothing against the people who are Bad-Ass at PvP and Crucible. But I want to play! I want a fighting chance. There is something Definitely wrong with the matchmaking (I think that's what they call it), and I honestly feel for those players complaining about bad players can spoil it for them. We are all in this thing together and we should not be... The good Bad-ass Career PvP players don't deserve to play with us as much as We don't deserve to play with them. So why are we being paired with players with impenetrable WHITE SHIELDS?

2 RepliesI suck too. My highest points was a lil over 1900..... I never played much fps games till now.... although I played titan fall a lot when it was released and got pretty good. Hopefully destiny will be the same.

It's fine I'm not a great player but I can hold my own and the only way to get better is to play and probably suck for a little bit. And you should also discover your play style like if you love to just rush into the heat of a gunfight, choose the Titan class

2 RepliesI wish they had like a hard core mode, then a more casual one. I admit it, I suck! But hey, I have fun playing, and i'm sorry my team may suffer from me. I don't try to get killed, just not as skilled as everyone else.

9 RepliesI'm horrible at PvP. I don't usually play it, but Destiny actually was so fun in PvE, that I was foolishly inspired to try. The result? I'm abysmal. I mean 1 kill, 3 assists, & 17 deaths? Yeah, I'm that bad. But I try - I don't rage quit, I race to capture the zones, & I don't just sit somewhere & hide. I like being part of a team. When I first played, just to show you how naive I am, I was using a scout rifle. Needless to say, I was repeatedly massacred before I could get off 2 shots. I did better when I switched to the auto rifle. PvP always intimidated the hell out of me because people get really serious about it. It's like being back in elementary school; I dreaded being picked last because I was that bad.

3 RepliesAt best I'm an average player. In most cases I can give as good as I've got. But there are times I play doormat to those that have a passion for PvP. There's nothing to be ashamed about. For the control maps I try to focus on objectives and defense. Going on the offense rarely goes well. I absolutely HATE the moon map. Just take out the vehicles or just greatly reduce their spawn.

it works the same for good players as one person can get over 6000 points and win it for the team

Know the feeling played the moon map once and was a total doormat! Its part of the fun though. As long as you're not abused for it. Everyone gets better in time, even if its only a little bit. Still one shot kills in beta lol some people are just gifted. Keep smiling and enjoy it.
