So what do you dislike about Destiny so far?

Aside from the obvious (and stupid) it's beta, what don't you like? Or specifically dislike? Or expected to be different in a way that you felt would have been better? 1) Movement. Movement felt slow, even with a hunter with a something like 50% agility, both normal and sprinting felt slow. Also you couldn't turn while sprinting without it deactivating sprint. Very annoying. Also, every class gets a "jump modifier". Glide, double jump... they all seem to do the same exact thing, just in different ways. That's lame. 2) Speaking of "they all seem to do the same thing", each sub class each has a movement ability, a melee attack modifier, and abilities that reduce cool downs when you kill with a grenade or kill with the special melee or some such. And on top of it it looks as if you get everything from a subclass, like you're not forced to choose "this or that" abilities/skills you want such as in Borderlands/Borderlands 2, and also each skill levels up in order? All of my characters gained their skills in the same order, one after another. With just 3 classes, and the similarities of their 3 respective subclasses, It's seems like it's going to feel stale, I hope I'm wrong. 3) Attack AND Impact. I get it, it runs on a curve for enemy scaling. This is so you can't get higher level gear and just steam role earlier level content, which I like, to a degree. A level 20 attack weapon with otherwise equal stats compared to a level 5 attack weapon should only have a slight edge against level 2 content, but a level 200 attack weapon SHOULD allow a player to steam roll level 2 content, not just give a slight edge. 4) Controller layout. Why the F*** in 2014 do we still have games that force pre-set controller layouts? This isn't even on the level of Bush League. Let me fully customize what button does what. 5) Back on abilities/skills, but this time for weapons. Every weapon/armor seems to have linear progression just like the subclasses. I hope this is just something for now, or something just for green/low level items, but this is a stale mechanic. Skill trees for the weapons/armor, where you have a finite number of choices would be great IMO.

  • Yeah kinda sad at the way they did classes. I love, absolutely love my Titan, the tanks are always fun for me. So why is it that I have to level in a preset order? I'd like to pick and choose what I want to level. Also, the differences dint feel dramatic. In the end, I feel I'm playing against the same genetic class over and over with different animations. Maybe it'll be different at 15, but for now, no real differences to me except those who can Titanfall, and those who can't.

  • You level up way too fast. Level 20 in the final product is poor. I wanted to sink 100 hours into it but seems most of that will be pvp which I'm not overly interested in. Beta has been fun though. 7/10

    • I am afraid that after the release they will only really consider American time zones again just like now in beta when planning special events. Here in the EU the early event was at 11pm, which is kinda manageable as long as it's on the weekend but the 2nd one was at 4 am.

      • it needs 60 fps. and why are the graphics so dark, especially in shadows. I had to turn my tv's brightness way up..

        • My biggest grip right now would be the Hunter super ability to me (in PvP) is way over powered. Say my Titan uses is super, he did, its finished, move on. But with the Hunters its 3 instant kills or hey if the guy you were going after dies you still have time to move about and get your 3 instant kills. It may not be the long but I feel the supers should all have different ready times depending on how powerful I guess they are. And yes I get that there a "super attack".

          • PVP seems really unbalanced and there's not enough separating the classes. I'd like different classes having certain weapon advantages and armor advantages. Titan having better handling if rifle and warlocks having better skill advantages with the hunter being proficient in both. Right now PVP caters to whoever has the best gear which is kinda lame because I know once the game starts guys who choose PvP will have not just experience as an advantage but a gear advantage on those who like the story and strike missions and play that the most

          • The beta is too short IMO and the lvl cap for beta soooo really I have none that won't be fixed XD

            • With the rare weapon I collected I noticed there is an option to lock in upgrades to it in order to gain a damage boost.
