Any chance of a Split Screen Co-Op?
What do you guys think of a lack of split screen? I find in almost all games today, there's a huge emphasis on multiplayer, but no emphasis on local co-op. For me there's nothing better than sitting with your buddy smashing the campaign together. With split screen being a big part of Halo, I would of though they might be putting it in. It's a shame they haven't.

That would be an awesome idea! We have the same problem at our house or when my friend came over last night. Had to take turns.......introduce split screen please!

I hope there's a chance of it at some point. Destiny would be so much fun to play with my family.

1 ReplyI totally agree. I loved "Halo family time". The beta has been fun, but its been a real bummer at our house taking turns and not getting to work together in the new Destiny world.

I think this isn't that difficult anyway, bungie has done it in halo and as long as everyone playing has a online account they are totally fine with any game type.

Back in 2013, bungie had a facebook page that asked if people wanted split-screen for destiny. Everyone said yes, and some even begged. Now all those people are disappointed because bungie doesn't want to do it anymore. Split screen has always been a fun, memorable, and rewarding experience. People love split-screen, so why doesn't bungie do it?

My wife started gaming with me with Halo 3, and we love doing split screen. The fact they will not have it with Destiny is a deal breaker. I guess Bungie is on track of supporting the anti-social gamer who lives in their parent's basement.

I'm too lazy to link, but a cursory internet search will reveal that they do not intend on split screen functionality. Sorry.
