Armor and Weapon Tiers
So what are the tiers for armor and weapons? I had seen for a while that there were only 4: common, uncommon, superior, and exotic. Now looking at the achievements and watching some videos are there more? Such as legendary and rare..

MMORPG's such as wow have teiring of gear, not only with the quality of gear common, uncommon, rare, legendary, exotic but at the top level of gear exotic there will be tiers. Take the gear from the vault of glass, assume its exotic, Bungie introduce another raid designed to be played after VoG the exotic gear from this raid would be even better and so on. This is an assumption but it is what the big MMORPG's do, and on the drop side of things is one thing that Destiny does the same.

1 ReplyFrom what we understand from the Alpha they swapped from the four tier system you mentioned to a five tier system: common -> uncommon -> rare -> legendary -> exotic
