Deej siad this:
quote: We're listening. This has been a very frequently asked question for a while now. Before we answered it, we wanted to show you why we didn't split the screen.
We wanted to show you a big, beautiful world that would blow your mind with immense scale and stunning imagery.
We wanted to give you full freedom to explore that world without being tethered to another player who would have pulled you off your path and onto theirs.
Destiny is all about exploration. From the very beginning, we decided to aim the full firepower of your console at one player. This game is about a personal journey, and we didn't want to make any compromises in rendering it.
I know that you want what you want, but it's important to us that you at least have a chance to understand our goals for this brave new world.
End quote
Deej pretty much just said destiny will be more fun without split-screen then with it.
Your thoughts please:
mine is what the -blam!-?

Well in order to make it split screen they would need to render the world twice on one console, so it is really more of a technical limitation. They big a big and graphically intensive world, and to make it split screen they would have had to dumb down the visuals quite a bit for it to work smoothly.
