For an AK, is it okay for that gas piston to wiggle on the bolt carrier? For it to not be so snug? Also, is it okay for the gas tube to wiggle also?
NOTE: Gif is unrelated.
UPDATE: I looked it up. It's ok. The gas piston is supposed to have a little bit of wiggle to it.

Pretty sure it's okay. It's not an AR-15 where everything has to be precised. The gas piston on my SKS has a bit of wiggle but performs just fine

Edited by Geth: 6/18/2014 7:31:46 PMNo, definitely not good. If the gun is chambering and that's loose it could do damage. If you know how take it a part do so. Or carry it to a arms dealer.

I think you have a problem there. I'm not an expert on it but I have a good amount of experience and I'm pretty sure you should get that taken care of.

How do you mean "wiggle"? Is it loose? Did you drop it on something?
