OK. This has probably come up a million and one times but I've not been here in a while. I trust the community not to give too much hate.
So, as late as I am, I'm at the point in my life to finally come to a decision about what console to purchase. Now I personally am an xbox fanboy, I never had ANY interest in the ps3 in the slightest.
Now I know that the ps4 is the superior console, however, I'm finding it difficult to come to a conclusion.
Therefore I turn to my fellow gamers to assist in the decision.
Please, sell me your views.
Thankyou.

Neither console is superior; it's all preference. There's really only three things to consider: where your friends are, the controller, and the exclusives. Make your decision based on those, not meaningless numbers spouted off by fanboys.

Totally thought this was gonna be out how a Second Great War in The Elder Scrolls has been added to the lore.

If you prefer crap servers and people without mics and hackers/squeakers playing CoD, go with ps4. If you enjoy the beautiful community you are already a part of, go Xbox one.
-
Buy the one your friends have? Buy the one that has the games you're interested in the most?
-
Where are your friends? Choose that console. Both are competitively priced right now. Also, know what franchises you can't live without. If that's more important than choose that console. If neither are greatly important to you then PS4 has the most power under the hood.

If you like sociable players and enjoy the X360 online experience, get an Xbox One. PS gamers barely communicate. If you prefer single-player, get a PS4.

*starts chanting* PC, PC, PC, PC...

A decent PC gaming rig is too damn expensive people! Even building it yourself can go into the quad digits. *_* I have an Xbox one and I admit that I like it.

Go with whatever your friends are getting.
-
Get a Wii U.

Ps4 , infamous second son ftw
-
buy PC and become one with PC Ketchup Rice

Where are all your good friends you like to game with?

Just ask yourself which exclusives you'd rather play first.
