Title for reference. I'm not going to argue that there should be no Food control at all. I personally wouldn't want to see Dangerous items and mislabeled poison being sold as food at Wal-Mart. I'm just going to say that the government has no right to take away any kind of right involving Food. Any unreasonable food control is infringement.
I'll go ahead and counter one argument right now: "The Declaration of Independence is outdated." Guess what? The declaration of independence was made before the first amendment. Does that mean that we should make everybody practice Hyperveganism? Does that mean that we should give the government absolute power over the media? Does that mean that we should ban public assembly? Does that mean that we should jail people who speak out against the portion controls and trans-fat bans states/cities pass? or that GMOs should have an exemption to free criticism under the law, since they're legally people?
I'll hear your arguments now about why the men who founded our country were wrong. I would love to hear people call these men, who were not only politicians but also successful military leaders, inventors, foodies, chefs, authors, and businessmen.
