Kay guys well here is the story:
My uni friend from London pretty much alternates between 1-2 outfits a week. We had a uni party last Friday and she was wearing what she usually wears when we are chilling in the lounge at uni.
She is honestly a very nice girl and is also really friendly. I just do not like the fact that she is a bit cheap. My other friends and I were pretty much all dressed up at the party, and then she came in looking cheap. I complimented one of my other friends on the nice dress she was wearing, and my English friend gave me a weird stare.
I want to tell her if she is alright without coming across as an ass, or if she needs help picking out clothes, idk. I just do not know how to do it. I am afraid our friendship will break because she probably thought I did not care how cheap she looked at first.
Not exactly asking her to look like Kate Middleton or anything, but can she at least not look depressing. Being from London and all I thought she would have had some nice clothes to bring over here. Seeing her with the same thing on is a bit irritating.

Maybe you should just let her be herself. Don't make her pretend to give a shit about clothing if she doesn't give a shit about clothing.
