Sunglasses thread
Anyone have any Oakley sunglasses or high end sunglasses? Thinking of getting them or maybe a step down and getting $50 decent pairs. I don't even have sun glasses.

Oakley is very overrated and overpriced. You should put money like that toward quality, like on Saks on 5th. I'm saving up for [url=http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=8xsys0&s=5]these[/url], but right now I've got a pair of Persols.

2 RepliesThe best pair of sunglasses I've ever had we're an $8 pair of aviators that I bought at a gas station. Really good. Had them for nearly a year and had 0 problems. The only reason I don't have them is because I left them at a Pizza Hut.

6 RepliesMy husband bought me incredibly nice Ray Ban sunglasses for $170. At first I was kind of upset. Who the hell spends that much money on sunglasses?! But now.. I love them and will probably never buy another cheap pair of sunglasses again. I've grown accustomed to taking really good care of them and making sure they're always in their case when not on my face. The size, the lenses, the quality of them as a whole... they're just perfect. My husband bought him some Oakley's. $190 but he was able to get them for $90 through Standard Issue. HD and polarized lenses. Plus they're ballistic. Perfect for him.

I have a $10 pair from Walgreens. They work just fine and look just as good as any expensive pair.

For being a service member, I get a 45% discount on my first purchase and 35% discount from then on on all Oakley products. I dunno what to buy though.

I have Terminator 2 sunglasses that I got at Universal Studios, I love them, they're the best sunglasses I've ever had. Perfectly comfortable, and so dark I never have to eve squint while wearing them.

As someone who owns 4 or 5 pairs of Oakleys...they aren't "high end" They're pretty mediocre.
