Faction Forums. It's time Deej. (Long, but important to you)

It's been interesting as I've been watching forum members switching profiles to factions symbols over the days as Bungie releases it's Destiny information. I imagine these individuals like me are excited and we must share a common sense of being out on a limb in supporting a visible symbol we know very little about in a game we've yet to play. But that is the risk of the beginning anything new, you go with it because it spoke to you in some way for better or worse and you take a leap of faith and say screw it, lets go. The FWC has been gathering itself under the group called the FWC core and I've begun to note the scattered Osiris members appearing here and there, the lone Seven Seraphs and the erratic but equally vocal Dead Orbits... it's the best orbit. (I'll give you guys that, it's a catchy tag.) All wandering around seemingly unorganized as their hopefuls call out "follow my clan, join me." The potential is there, and you can see they only need the fertile ground to grow to reach such great heights as we draw closer to your game's launch. Seven days ago I saw a chance to do something a little different than building one more clan with two other FWCs under a very familiar model. It's a model of gathering members while setting down our control as admins and walking away from clan trappings and letting our FWC friends set their own rules and firefight teams for Destiny as they saw fit in the forum we provided while working to invite other FWCs to a safe haven from sinking threads and rancor. It has led to a modest showing of support going from Three hopefuls who had no clue to who the other was to now Fifty-Three members that are still growing within a five to six day span due to a safe settings set within an ideal that is a umbrella or a makeshift FWC forum. PSN and XBL users set their play dates and exchanged tags. Mics opened and Friend Lists grew under the FWC banner. New members were welcomed and made to feel at ease. This is the power of the Flag. The power of a Banner, a Symbol. Everyone rallies around a common theme that brotherhoods and sister hoods form under. Unity takes shape and a movement begins, or at least in theory and to some part it's taken hold under the first Destiny faction to form on your forums. I was going to wait till Bungie day to ask with the entire faction ready to post away and we still are, but with Bungie week realized we might as well get to the discussion. And it's discussion for every member on these forums sporting a Destiny Faction Logo or has an interest in those faction that has yet to embrace their Faction symbol visually. http://www.bungie.net/7_FWC-Core/en-us/Groups/Detail?groupId=40683 This is your FWC faction Bungie. You can see by our forum that your ideas presented within the GDC conference will and can produce the effect you were looking for with your new Destiny community under the right circumstances. I know for a fact that fifty or so odd FWCs would march right into their Bungie sanctioned forum and begin filling it with life and purpose in order to grow while free of the fear of a centralized Clan trapping under one leader or pyramid structure. Now the benefit for the rest of the forums as a whole would be a run off of Faction based clans from both the Destiny and Community forums by providing an official avenue for them to reach their respective fellow faction members for recognition. Hopefully it would clear some faction posts from the Destiny forum but what are chances of that? These members of your new Ips community are ready to fill their faction's official forum and celebrate the game and each other with open game nights and a return to vocal community games while showing full support for Bungie by embracing the FWC and giving it a life in your forums and Destiny history. So we humbly and proudly ask for an official forum for the FWC as well as the other factions at the beginning of Destiny on this day of Bungie Week, so when the time comes those multitude of banners you set before us all will be full of firefight teams that will march into your game on launch ready to breathe life into their digital counterparts to take to the wilds and explore your works under their respective calling. Thank you sir for your time. Whatever the answer the FWC on your forums are excited and ready to have fun and run with your game till their disks or hardrives shatters.
