Math Club thread
Alright guys, here's a safe place for everyone to get together and talk about how much you like math. I for one love math and am excited to take the Calculus BC exam soon, anyone else in the same boat? Poll is for your favorite topic from Calculus, mine for one is definitely parametrics because they are fun and easy and useful.

2 RepliesYou hate Riemann Sum? Its super easy!!! Even in multi-variable calc, which im currently taking, its super easy! The worst thing on there is Series!

1 ReplyRiemann sums are easy, you just apply what you know about basic geometric shapes (rectangles, trapezoids) and set up the intervals for where they would be on the graph.

3 RepliesThose big words in the poll box make me think the difficulty from my current, easy 10th grade honors Algebra 2 to 12th grade Calculus will go up by the cube of the grade level. I've heard of series before, so I'll go with that.

4 RepliesI have heard of none of those. In my three years of college I've only taken three math courses: discrete mathematics, math for business and economics, and stats. All I remember is that matrices and the simplex method were hell.

I just enjoy taking derivatives and especially integrals by hand, it's fun stuff.
