Praise for the artists/map designers at Bungie

I mean seriously, everything I've seen in game in Halo and concepts from Destiny are astonishing. Not only is game play a key element for reeling in the audience's interest, but the world around you should be very captivating and I think the people mentioned above at Bungie are doing a kick ass job. Let's hear it for them! What are some of your favorite level's due to their environment/art?

    • I guess MY spot would be on Forgeworld in REACH. Up the coast to the lone Island on the left (not the tall one below the hanger) It's my favorite spot to create. I like how the water spills over the floor wen I lay down a Coliseum Wall

I've always loved the environments Bungie creates in Halo and can't wait to see what they do for Destiny. In every Halo game I've always stopped and looked at the environments. In Halo CE they did a good job with the silent cartographer, the way they designed the beach and the forerunner interior architecture were very well done. In the level 343 Guilty Spark, Bungie did great making the swamp feel creepy like something bad was going on, along when you were inside you knew something was not right. Also in Truth and Reconciliation I thought it was cool with how they designed the Covenant ship as well with the interior of it. The purple and the alien looks made it feel very fitting. Halo 2 for me the levels that stood out the most to me are the levels Delta Halo and High Charity. Delta Halo had the ancient and forest look to it which looked amazing to me. High Charity was very beautiful, looking out at the city was stunning on how beautiful it was, and the music that went with it was perfect. I think Hight Charity was one of my all time favorites. I don't really remember much from Halo 2 as it has been awhile since I replayed the game. I think I'm going to do that after this lol :) On Halo 3 for me I think it was Serria 117, The Ark, The Covenant, Cortana, and Halo. Serria 117 had a beautiful jungle environment. The Ark had beautiful desert and forerunner environment/design. Brain fart on The Covenant I'll have to come back to this XD. Cortana had a cool flood or infected High Charity environment. Halo was cool seeing what an unfinished Halo ring looked like and it was cool seeing everything blow up around you when you were driving the warthog lol :). Halo ODST had a mostly dark and a little depressing environment. It was really a different mood compared to other Halo games. I though it was pretty cool to look at and was different to look at. It was cool seeing the night time city and having the flash backs that took you out of that realm for a bit. The Reach environments were nice as well, especially that first level, I thought that first level had a lot of detail with the grass waving, the cloudy sky, some of the houses, and the pretty trees. It was cool seeing the environment change from a pretty and nice environment to an environment that kinda showed the end of the world. Bottom line I think all the Halo environment were great and beautiful, I'm just listing the ones that were my favorite and the ones I remember most, and Bungie did a great job with them I've always thought Bungie did amazing with there environments. I can't wait to see what they have in store for us in Destiny.

I love glitching outside H2,H3 and Reach maps and exploring the skybox art.
