I know a lot of people are having trouble linking accounts. However I need help with something a little different. Right now I am logged into a Bungie Account with a display name as "Blimpie." "Blimpie" is my current Xbox Live Gamertag. However, I'm not sure if my Bungie account is using "Blimpie" as my display name because it is my current gamertag or if because that's the display name I created for this Bungie account. I am logged into my Bungie account using an old, and completely different email address that I now presently use for my current XBL gamertag. How can know for sure if Bungie is registering my Bungie account with my current XBL gamertag? If Bungie is not, how can I do so? If the solution is to link the email address I currently use for my XBL gamertag, then I will say I have already tried to do so. However, like everyone else, I keep getting an error message saying that account is already logged in...blah blah blah. If Bungie is not registering my current XBL gamertag with this Bungie account, then can't I just create a whole new Bungie Account using the email address I use for my XBL gamertag? I have tried to do this as well. However, after entering my display name and email address, an error message comes up saying "We were unable to save your profile information. Please try again later." SO, in short, all I want to do is obtain a Bungie account that will have my current XBL gamertag linked to it. I have tried- Logging out, logging in. Restarting Browser. Using "Private Browsing." Closing all windows and restarting computer. Logging in with facebook. My current email address I use for my XBL gamertag is a Google (Gmail) address which is NOT linked to this Bungie Account (I have tried and am having same issues has everyone else.) PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!
