The leavers thread
Assuming this new format sticks who here feels its the final nail in the coffin for them staying here?
The new layouts too much of a pain the ass for me. The look is horrible, and i only ever came here for the flood. I stopped browsing much lately, it became the halo 4 section, so this just about does it.
I probably wont come back here, depends if i need to for Destiny goodies, thats if Destiny is any good.
Anyway its been fun, some of you were laughable trolls, the rest of you were great people to talk about crap to, they were good times.
For those of us who leave i'll ad you to the list here for anyone who wonders where you are (untill i go)
Just remember, we arent dead, we are just missing in action...

I personally feel that this layout has a lot of potential. I am sure Bungie knows where they are going with this, it's more then likely to work perfectly with their new game.

This is my home and I am not leaving! Bungie.next is still in beta so things will eventually change for the better (get the [url=https://github.com/Shou-/Bungie-dark]Bungie-dark css script[/url] if you haven't already). And I've got a feeling that there will be an announcement about Destiny Soon(TM).

This has been my home for many years and i'm not ditching the old girl just yet. The only thing is the charm of bnet has gone, it used to be easy to tell when busy, i'd recognize friends and reply pyramid with them...now it feels like a doctors waiting room. Still i'm holding out hope that the mighty overlords will do good with the site. I mean they did implement a ton of features we requested.

Also leaving bnet for good, only checking in weekly to see if things changed. Spend some fun days and nights here, but I just can't bare this layout, hashtag structure and weird chronological order / reply system. It's a beta? Good. Better change this section back to an actual forum or they lost me.

I actually might move to Bioware Social, 4leva For the truth i feel like i liked the old rules and were the forums were separate and the Flood would always be group of children running in the streets while the Gramps (Community Forum) would always be threatening to call the cops on us. Now that those group of children have been changed and been going into groups out of fear it it changed Also this hashtag shit sucks.

3 RepliesRemember everyone, its just a beta. With enough public outcry (and there is definitely enough) they will change things. I personally don't mind how the site is now, although It looks way better black, using the hashtag system you can easily get the flood back, in some form.

The forums (mainly the Flood) Both have been quickly and painfully done away with. I guess the only reason I come now is to see if they ever go back to having forums.

I didn't come here for The Flood, I came here for the stats but didn't stay because of the jokes but because of the community, the site, and Bungie. Pre-08 I had just viewed Bungie as a great team of Devs who knew how to make an experience. They had done so much for me, where [b]I[/b] have had done so little for them. I came by a few times, checking out my Halo 3 stats and had just closed the Tab after I was finished. After repeating that cycle of few dozen times I had decided to check out the whole site, including the Forum(s). Sure there was some unpleasant things to have been read, but it was something I got by. Considering I had so little knowledge about game mechanics at the time I had just gone to The Flood thinking it was just a bunch of goofballs (which it was). But over the years it had become a place I would frequent the most and had eventually put it on my most visited site. Call it stupid but the site and the community here cheer me up, even with some of the quarrels that happen here. I consider it a charm that this place has, and taking into account that it was those at Bungie who were behind it all made me feel that everything tied in completely. With the Beta going on right now it's no surprise that a lot of people would be upset about it, and leaving it was also a thought that I had when it first started. After thinking about it I had realized that if I were to leave I would be leaving everything that I had made a huge connection with. Leave if you wish, but if you really had made the best of this site while you were here then I applaud you.
