To start off, I've been getting tired of playing Reach on the Xbox 360 and dealing with issues like heat, ventilation, constantly having to go back and forth from the Xbox 360 to my PC, etc.
From what I've heard, Windows 8 allows players to play the Xbox 360 game on the PC.
If I upgrade to Windows 8 release preview, does this mean I can play Reach or H3 from the convenience of my computer without having to turn on the Xbox 360?
Posted by: Dr Syx
Posted by: Wilis_kid There was also a rumoured feature that let Windows 8 play games by having it streamed to the PC from the 360. Was that rumour also proven to be false too?
All the rumors circled around Microsoft stating that Windows 8 will have "Xbox Live features" to it. The truth turned out to be SmartGlass.
I see, I haven't been following Windows 8 lately at all. So it really is no different from the "My Xbox Live" app for the iPhone and iPad which allows you to log in and control your 360 dashboard? Disappointing really, maybe with the next Xbox we'll see something more than just casual integration. That said, I do see it's benefits and attraction to new developers etc.
