AHH!!! The site looks awesome, but the forums are so inconvinient. I realy like the xbox.net forums. Thier the best in the world. If only you can have so much freedom in this place.
I agree with you 100% about wanting a button to return to the forum index.
You have one. That big picture at the top with "Septagon" to the right. =) I really like these forums. They are much more like the phpbb standard many have grown to love. Way to go, Bungie! =) [Edited on 4/12/2004 10:09:27 PM]

Follow, don't be innovative. I hate this crap. It's so pretty, yet all of the features I loved about the old forum are gone. Where's the indentation, so I know who responded to what? What's up with the post count stuff? I thought it was decided this was a bad idea. Where is the forum search I loved to abuse? I suppose more will come in time (like a link to the Underground on the home page) but until then, it is going to be a pain to post here. I'm going to have to start constantly quoting people so others know who I'm talking to. P.S. The new look made me -blam!- I mean come... over to the computer. :) Oh, and big+ not having to preview posts anymore. [Edited on 4/12/2004 10:22:49 PM]

But you have to scroll all the way up to reach it. It should be at the bottom too.

What's up rusniko. :) I think these forums are pretty decent in my opinion. There's some crucial stuff missing like a basic search option but I'm confident that will be added in a timely fashion.

Well, the custom avatars aren't gonna happen. I agree with you 100% about wanting a button to return to the forum index.

what's wrong with a post count rip? i think it's funny.

I actually like the new forums quite a bit. Like I said, it fits more in line with the phpbb forum standard. (HaloBabies Forum) I like the fact that you don't have to scroll all the way down to view threads where the replies are all bunched up on the right. I like that active threads remain on the top of others, rather than getting pushed down by new ones. It is also good that the replies appear one after the other. This requires that you at least glance at other people's posts before making your own. I always hated a person who would say the same thing as someone else cuz they were too lazy to read the other posts. Hats off to Bungie for the new forums!

Hah! You should see the site now. It's something else =)

Was there really a need to bump this thread from more than a year ago?
-
hey do you really like to kill grunts? :(
-
I have to agree with fatso:) this forum is pretty easy to navagate
Posted by: Reiginko I like to know exactly what a post is responding to.
It's very easy to know what post you are responding to. Click reply under the post you are responding to, and then click quote.

Yeah they are wierd but they are impressive
-
mrsmiley: (see what the non-threaded listing has made me do?!?!) I actually like the old threaded-style listing. I like to know exactly what a post is responding to. I do agree with you that it's a good thing for active topics to be kept near the top, but that kinda happens with mixed threaded listing like they have at the b.org forums. - Reiginko

the only additions i feel in need is a link back to the forum that you were in at the bottom aof a response form and also if you could make your own icons.
