The Most Significant Battle in History
What do you think is the most significant battle in history? It doesn't have to be set in fact in a history book, this is about your opinion and no one elses.
Alternatively if you don't have an idea of the most significant, what is your favorite battle to study if you have any?
I cant put it down to a single battle, so in my opinion the Eastern Front during World War 2 was the most significant.

OT: Anyway I would say either The Battle of New Orleans, Yorktown, D-day in general, or the Battle of the Bridge. Edit: Whoops forgot about the Battle of Britain. That one too. [/quote][/quote] Nope sorry. Battle of the Bridge. It took place I think in 316 AD. It was between Constantine and some rival forces (not sure of they're name) Its that battle that pretty much started the conversion of the Roman Empire into Christianity.
