"We're dark, but you still burn bright."

You: "Hey Lobster, I think I've heard that or seen that somewhere..." Me: "Look right." That is correct, those beautiful 7 words that grace the ad spot where many ads have come before is what we have during these dark times. Now, I know this may seem a little out of the blue here but follow along with me for some camaraderie. Think about it, what happens when you click the add? That's right, you are linked to the Community Forum. The dark Bnet Epicenter. This is where we burn bright, have fun, make friends and organize gameplay. This idea of burning bright is what impacts me most and shows me how important we are as a Community, to Bungie. You may have come across, in this progressive and ever-fleeting 2012 world, the term to burn bright. If you've ever read Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451 you may be familiar with this term or if you've ever been in touch with some emotional strife or been giving someone else advice, you may have told them to burn bright. The fact that Bungie sees us as burning bright, as carrying the torches, as the ones creating a livable, loving place where we call home is what hits home with me. It lets me know and enables me to reflect on how great this all is. Every day. So, Community members, whatever you want to refer to yourself as, I would like to know a few things. What does it mean to you that we burn bright in the eyes of Bungie? How does it make you feel to be here and be appreciated? Are there any kind words of your own you'd like to share?
TL;DR: We are awesome and appreciated, answer my questions.
• To be here is kinda like having a second Family. I haven't been on B.net in a while, but every time I come back here it always gives me a warm feeling. Like knowing that you're around people that want to do the things you want to do, or discuss those topics that not everyone at your home, school, or workplace want to talk about. And when a company like Bungie is able to give me that feeling that I am part of this community that helps out each and every day to help this place grow and thrive successfully, Then you know their doing a damn fine job of making me feel important.
