What's wrong with promiscuity?

If a man or woman lives a promiscuous lifestyle, what's wrong with it?If they are safe about it, what's wrong with it? If they don't judge those who are more conservative with their lives, why should they be judged?

 •
Posted by: random no337
Posted by: HALO12325 Our society has become a lot less family oriented less safe. Look how common divorce is. There was VERY little family splitting and single families in the past.
Yeah, what happened to single women being almost helpless in society, the cultural taboo about people ceasing to get along in a house, the woman being a man's property etc? Those were the days.
Older people are considered useless now far more than before, whereas before they were considered wise sages.
I haven't seen anything to indicate this, though due to the rate of progress in the last century and a half they may be more prone to losing touch with current life.
Teen pregnancy is more of an issue.
This is just untrue.
People feel less safe now than before in their own communities than in the past. I can go on and on.
People in developed nations live in the safest, healthiest and wealthiest (compared over decade-like timescales, obviously very recently things have turned a little sour) times ever, and that is a fact. The 24-hour news cycle makes it seem like the world is going to hell but there are a lot less reasons to be scared these days than previously.
1. That's wrong obviously. There have been positive transformations, and that's one of them. 2. Old people just seem a lot more like a "strain to the system" than the past, and kids seem a lot less disciplined and respectful 3. People FEEL less safe in their own communities compared to 50 years ago. We're talking Western civilizations, not poor 3rd world countries. People felt safer in the 50's than now (again, this doesn't represent everyone). @Twiggy, it is something quite clear to see, like water and sand. [Edited on 09.26.2012 7:57 PM PDT]
