Halo needs CoD's Domination mode

I'm not even kidding. Half of the fun I get out of CoD is having 3 flags scattered around the map, no time limit, and everyone can kill each other endlessly. I feel Halo has always been about the cold, set, strict amount of kills you can get per match and THAT'S IT. Nobody can kill each other again because the limit has been reached! Another gametype that was sadly never nailed is that of BFBC2's Rush mode. Invasion in Reach should have had Generators for you to charge and destroy, but instead we got this pointless standing in one location for 20 seconds. Now in Halo 4, Dominion is a sad disappointment that blends both Domination and has some Rush elements, yet fails miserably because the game can end in less than 1 minute if a team captures all bases.

It wasn't trying to be anything like rush but rather its own gametype.[/quote] You only armed bombs in one stage of Breakpoint, which was pretty awesome to be honest, but there's no excuse for Generators to be left out the gamemode. Sometimes it felt justified that you were just standing like a dumbass in one spot for 20 seconds, as you were "invading hurr", but in situations like the second phase of Invasion Spire just felt wrong. Why would you stand like a moron in one of the 2 lift rooms? You're not hacking anything, you're just sitting there.[/quote]I think your taking the game to literally. [/quote] I loved Invasion. But I always knew it could be better. Playing Rush in BC2 is so much fun because it reminds me of what Invasion should have been.
