Honestly I could not get into the game... mainly due to the combat. I would swing at something 1 foot ahead of me and it won't register the hit.
When oblivion came out everyone was saying.how it was lightvyears ahead of morrowind but now that skyrim been out for a while people are saying how great morrowind was..
Was it really that good?
Posted by: Blacknight159 It's because unlike Oblivion and Skyrim Morrowind had an interesting story. True, it was marred by painful graphics, combat, and animation but again, it was the story and atmosphere that made it so well loved.
It was an RPG, not the actiony-crap that Skyrim. You're going to miss in combat sometimes. Alot of people forget that sometimes. As far as graphics and animation goes, it was released in 2002. I really think it's better than the past 2 installments because out of those 3, it sticks to the open world format the best. Wanna go check out that distant mountain? Good, better prep for a long walk, because you ain't fast-traveling there and you're probably going to get bum-pummeled by cliff racers 3 seconds into your journey. Besides, any Elder Scrolls game without a pair of Travel-Stained Pants is doin' it wrong. [Edited on 12.05.2012 2:25 PM PST]
