Clarifying the Storm Covenant's and Covenant's Belief System

So I understand that the Storm still hate the humans and the Covenant want to ally with the humans. And I also understand that the Storm are still in search of Forerunner artifacts. But does the Storm still believe in activating the Halos? Are they exactly like the old Covenant? And does the new Covenant still revere the Forerunners as gods?

Anything could have happened in that time - I'm willing to bet the Storm won, and Thel's been deposed - hence why some Covenant are seeking asylum on Earth. I think dealing with this threat will be the initial goal of Halo 5 - a UNSC invasion of Sanghelios to deal with the Storm.
I doubt Thel was deposed, he is way to important a character to kill off behind the scenes. Of course, he need not necessarily have died to lose his power, but I think 343 is done with covenant being the main enemies. If anything they'll be on the side helping the forerunners.
