I'm not saying there is a reference at the end of Halo 3 towards Destiny, at all. In fact, I said just the opposite. I see no connection. And on an unrelated note, I agree with you with the part of Bungie has more of a choice when it comes to creative freedom, except with the end of Halo 3. To me, it makes sense that they wanted to make sure they can finish Halo 3 with the possibility of another installment of their multi-billion dollar franchise. I'm absolutely positive Microsoft wouldn't of allowed Bungie to kill off Master Chief if they tried. Microsoft definitely was making sure Halo 3 would end in a way that they wanted.
