The Didact's Lieutenants
I've wondered on the possibility of Didact having lieutenants on Requiem, controlling the Promethean Forces. While I personally believe the Didact survived his encounter with John (He fell into a slipspace portal below the Composer and he is immune to its effects, not to mention a single Pulse Grenade wouldn't have killed him), some here believe the Didact didn't survive.
So who commands the Prometheans? 343 explained that the Knights retain their personality from their organic lives and its possible that the Didact would have specific Knights to lead Promethean Forces while he was busy. So, what's the chance of encountering such a Knight in Spartan Ops? I think it would be cool to see the more individual knights having their own colors.

The Prometheans aren't the only branch of the Forerunner Military. The Warrior-Servants like the Didact are the Forerunner equivalents to Spartans. There is also Builder Security; more like a Forerunner equivalent to Militia, Marines and regular Special Forces. While the Didact obviously would compose into Knights his own Prometheans, who follow him with absolute unquestioning loyalty, the Security forces of the various Forerunner castes would probably reject the Didact's plan straight away, seeing as they are not dedicated warriors unlike the Prometheans. Still, they are under the command of the Didact; Supreme Command of the Forerunner Military, and would possibly have commanders who would support both the Didact's anti-human bias as well as his preservation effort of the Forerunner species as opposed to the Liberian's plan to sacrifice their entire species to pass the torch. Possibly, with Shield Worlds, there could be Caste Security forces in the galaxy, and the Didact could demand their aide in his current campaign.
