Did you ever skip school?
Security / cops at my school were never really super uptight so skipping was fun.
Any who our lunch is in the middle of a 2 hour class and once it started that's when we left. 600 kids going to the cafeteria created more than enough for our groups to sneak out.
My friends and I would usually get a group of people who also want to leave (6-12 people). After that we all call each other and with the right timing and communication we splinter celled our way out the school past security and cops to the parking lot into our cars and woosh! We all benefited by helping each other get out and we got back to our group of friends and took off. After that we either went and chilled at someones house, went to eat at a restaurant, go to the mall, movies, or whatever and then went back for our 4th period.
I don't know about you guys but High School was really -blam!- fun for me. The fact that mine was huge and wasn't strict made it even better.

I believe I'm granted one "mental health day" per year, but no, I wouldn't choose to skip school if given the opportunity (Making up work and falling behind is annoying).

I skipped four of my college classes the day Halo 4 came out. I do occasionally, but I am very selective about it.

We always finished our work before we even left for lunch. Sitting there for 1 hour and 30 minutes in dead silence would of been way to boring when we knew we could be passing and not even be in class.

My education costs $12000 per year, in frickin' high school. Hell no.

If there's over a foot of snow outside I'll probably skip all of my classes.

All of the time but I wouldn't go before hand, I just wouldn't go at all. At my school if you got caught sipping you would either be suspended for 3 days(not even a punishment imo) or get a few days of ISS.

Yeah. One was to go biking with friends, the other was to go goof around town, and then a couple were just because I was feeling lazy.

Yup. Senor skip day was the best though, because the teachers were in on it and just didn't assign any work that day for us. High School was fun at times, but I would never go back to that place.

I skip school a lot. I have a rule that I must follow if I skip though. If I am to skip, I will not return until the next day. I've managed to pass all classes with a "C" average and I still have a great time. Luckily my school's "security" is a bunch of Campus Advisers in golf carts and they don't care if they see a Senior getting in their car.

I sometimes took sick days on purpose because I didn't want to go to school. Nice thing about college is, they don't give a -blam!-. Feel like crap? Don't get out of bed. Just don't want to go to class? No problem. Bad thing about that is, you may miss something important in class. And its up to you to figure out what you missed.

Yep, all the time. Still made it through on time and with good marks. However, now I wish I had been more committed.

[/quote] My school just either told us to get back to class or hurry up and leave depending on which security guard you got caught by. The only time they gave you in school suspension or suspend you was if they caught you rapidly trying to skip which after the 2nd or 3rd time getting caught most people knew the fun was over and they should just stick it out in class.

I do, And sometimes I stay up until 9:30 and watch PG-13 movies.

Not too much, but I did on days when I was [i]really[/i] burnt out or if I wanted to spend some time with my ladyfriend.
