I wear my Dead Orbit and BB,BB shirt sometimes and no one ever seems to recognize it.
Have you ever had anyone else identify you/identify someone else as being a member of the septagon army?
-
People used to recognized my B.U.N.G.L.E shirt.
-
Nope, don't have one.
-
Nope people comment on a weird logo though :/
-
I don't know where to purchase anything bungie....
-
I only have one shirt from Bungie and I don't really wear it often. So no.
-
Nah. The only one I really wear on occasion is my Burn Bright, Burn Blue shirt. I've had friends ask me what it is referencing (like they recognize it, but can't place it), and then understand it once I tell them. They disappoint me because we all used to do lans a lot. Then again, I've also had someone ask me if it was Crysis.
-
I saw a girl wearing a Halo Reach shirt once. It wasn't an official Bungie shirt, and she was really fat so i kept my distance.
-
Got called out for my destiny t-shirt by like 10 people
-
I had my Bungie t shirt on at Disney World and had a couple people ask me if I worked for Bungie. I explained that I OWNED Bungie. Nah,just kidding. I was honest.
Posted by: True Underdog The "See You Starside" one (I think that's its name) - it's the one with the Destiny logo on the shoulder.
I got that Track jacket and it is pretty cozy
Posted by: True Underdog Someone recognized my Bungie hoodie fairly recently. Then some people commented on it at the Halo 4 launch but that doesn't really count.
Which one?

And that's when things get scary :-) On the topic of shirts: yes, it actually happens fairly frequently. The funniest experience was when somebody saw my Bungie shirt and said "Hey! I work at Bungie too!" and I had to tell them that I was not an employee. Then he said "Oh... so you USED to be an employee?" And I said no, I didn't used to be an employee either. And so he said "Oh... so you just have the shirt" and I said "uh huh" because it was 7 in the morning and I couldn't think of anything wittier to say. Then we spent the rest of the elevator ride in incredibly awkward silence.
I remember that story, has this thread been done before? I don't remember. [Edited on 12.12.2012 10:29 AM PST]
Posted by: evilcam I currently only have one Bungie related piece of clothing, and no one has even given it a second look.
I'm pretty sure I know what it is :)
-
Posted by: evilcam I don't think I've ever knowingly encountered another forum user period, much less while wearing Bungie paraphernalia.
That hurt my feelings. :( After all I've done for you, and you wont even recognize our time together. WE'RE THROUGH D:

I wore my FWC shirt to PAX 2011 (before we were selling them) and had a few people recognize it from fan sites. It was a fun way to pick serious fans out of the crowd.

I remember him saying something about it, but I don't remember what that was. I can barely remember last week, much less 8 years ago.

No one comments on my Bungie man-thong :(
-
Nope. And I have a couple. Looks like there aren't too many hardcore fans in central Kansas. :(
-
Someone once recognized my New Monarchy shirt.

Summer 2011, there was a security guy in one part of the red room, and he noticed my Bungie Aerospace shirt. Asked if I knew anything about it. I didn't. End of story.
Posted by: Jump Into Hell
Posted by: Karl2177 White House security guy recognized my Bungie Aerospace shirt.
Please elaborate.
A few months ago wearing my Bungie Baseball T, ran into an employee of Rockstar at a local bar. He said he worked on Red Dead and Midnight Club. Taken with a grain of salt, it's very believable as there's a rockstar building two exits down on the freeway. Also had a few customers notice at work today, too. Coworker asked if they're coming out with a new game... lol!
-
Nope, I have a 7th column t-shirt so it's a little harder to recognize than say a Halo or "splatter" t-shirt.
