The concept of dayz is really interesting to me in the single player mindset. Because what if you have your single player missions you have to complete, but in order to complete them you have to get on a multiplayer server. If you think about it you will never play the same game over and over. if your mission is to retrieve medical supplies for your camp on a multiplayer server then you will have real life decisions you will have to make. do I kill this guy in the sniper nest? Do I go around the clan of players? Are they friendly? Does anyone else think Of this as a new genre of game or what are your thoughts

Sounds cool OP. I've never heard of this game before.

If you have multiple people on a server trying to accomplish a different goal it would make it to where you are the A.I in the game. so if your on a mission to complete such and such maybe another guy is on the same mision it might be easier for him to just kill you and finish the mision, or he might actually have to search around and look for his objective but he ran across you and he doesnt know what your looking for to finish your objective. do you kill him? let him live? maybe if its a group of people they all complete said mission at the same time as one person. I see warz as trying to do something close to this but what if this were the game. Maybe Im not explaining this really good but I always have trouble putting things down the way Im thinking [Edited on 11.20.2012 3:00 AM PST]

This isn't working. People enjoy killing anything that stands in their way, besides if you don't kill him then maybe he will kill you. Whatever the case, one of you will respawn. The game will also need a real AI to compensate for lunatics that abandon their mission in a crusade to make other people butthurt.

Sorry OP but this would ruin the sandbox feel of the game. You make your own missions, objectives, with the overall hope of surviving as long as possible. Your concept is cool and all, but you'd have to apply it to something new to avoid the -blam!-storm of people who wouldn't want their Dayz ruined.
