Why didn't they use the MP chief armor?
I mean they could have at the very beginning at the least and then changed it when he found infinity. The multiplayer Mark VI armor is far more similar to the Halo 3 model than what was forced upon us in the campaign.

I honestly don't see how it's an issue. The old armor was from 2004, and is honestly outdated. The armor now looks better than it ever has.

[/quote]Because as far as 343i is concerned -blam!- you and what you liked about sense. It was in the flashbacks at the beginning as well, which I found equally out of place. Then we have the redesigned Forward Unto Dawn that looked nothing at all like the one from Halo 3. To add to that list of nonsensical things, when the Didact attacks Earth where was the entire UNSC fleet and their orbital MAC defense grid?

In all seriousness though I believe that SMAC array got destroyed in the Battle For Earth. They're very expensive seeing as only 2 planets had them and I think Reach Reach only had 20 but Earth was supposed to have 300. And with most of the Navy budget going to Infinity I Guess they haven't had the time or funds to rebuild them.

Little known fact the MJOLNIR armors backside plate is actually a buttflap that Cortana can lower whenever she saw Chief had to poop.

I suppose Bungie destroyed canon when they changed the HUD from 2 to 3? Or maybe when they changed his gauntlets.

I don't get why they redesigned his armor TWICE. Halo 4 has two sets of Mk VI, and the worst thing about it is that the Chief apparently retires his Mk VI at the end of the game. So we don't get the classic armor at all in H4 and we never will again. Bravo 343i.

They are in fact required to explain his armor change. Bungie did it from Halo 2-3. Oh and a HUD update is pretty different from the actual armor. It could easily be done with software. Want to explain how he got a new set of armor with the same scratches while he was in deep space? Or why said armor also appears is Halsey's flashbacks at the beginning? Or maybe you can explain or justify why the cryo room on the Dawn is different, why the rear of the ship has a bridge, or the presence of the goddam missile courtyard. They not only changed the ship, they made it bigger! That is just ignorance at it's finest.
