How to decipher the hieroglyphs on Santrap! UPDATE: Debunked?
Do you guys remember the secret of sandtrap? And how bungie even said those hieroglyphs on sandtrap meant something?? Well I think I figured out how to decode it. I just need help.
It involves the terminals.
In the terminals, remember how some of the letters would change into a symbol, and then back again? Those symbols are the same ones in sandtrap. And I believe this is how to decode them.
For example, lets use the word "Bungie". Say the letter "i" changes to a forerunner symbol. Lets use 7 as a placeholder. That would look like "Bung7e". It will quickly change back to the orignal spelling of "Bungie".
Since the letter "i" turns into the forerunner symbol "7", that means that the symbol "7" means "i".
Makes sense right? The problem is that the terminals move way too fast. If we could get someone to record all the terminals in HD and SLOW THEM DOWN, we could decipher the secret of sandtrap. And even if this doesn't relate to destiny, it would be the biggest easter egg find of all time, even bigger then the Megg.

Bungie DID say that the symbols on sandtrap had a meaning. Doesn't this seem like a very easy way to decipher? There are only 26 letters in the alphabet. This won't take too long. If someone could just please upload the terminals in HD and slow motion, I will take the time to decipher the code and read the sandtrap walls. Please tell me why you think I am trolling.

This actually makes sense... Someone should really try this! Even if it doesn't work, at least we know. And I do recall that post from a bungie employee saying that those symbols do mean something.

Because you can do them on easy, right? Or is it different? Anyway, if you upload them in slow motion and HD, I will go through and write down which symbols mean what letters. I will post an image of the findings on here, and with help, we will use it to finally read sandtrap's walls. I'd love to help with the terminals, but I do not have access to an xbox right now. If you're actually serious, I have an HD capture card. I'm sure each person who has one could take 2-3 terminals to record so it will only take about an hour.
