An open letter to Bungie Pro members, past and present:
As Bungie sunsets our involvement in the Halo universe, we wanted to take a moment to give extra thanks to our power users who signed up for the Bungie Pro add-on service. The last wave of Halo-generation Bungie Pro subscriptions will be expiring shortly, but rest assured that it's only going into hibernation - when we're ready, we'll reveal a new suite of services, including ones we'll proudly launch under the Bungie Pro banner. Bungie Pro has always been about providing a way to offer premium services that just can't be free for everyone, like using Bungie machines to render gameplay footage to video. (You've created 10 Terabytes of Halo video clips on Bungie.net!)
At the same time, we will remain committed to keeping our core web offerings open to all of our users. At Bungie we're proud of our long-term memory, and when the time comes for Bungie Pro to yawn, stretch, and blink its eyes in the light of a new morning, we'll do something special for the people who gave it such a successful first run. Thanks for joining us for the ride so far.
See you starside!

Nope, as previously mentioned, the render feature and its minutes are now retired. See you next time!
-
So are render minutes still going to be accessible after the 31'st? I really hope they are!
-
Let's just hope Activision doesn't make us pay $50 for a service Bungie gives us for $10
-
It was an honor to buy a year of it in the first place! ;)

This was interesting

i was just about to buy more render minutes to render videos :(

Last time there was a significant change to stats was with Halo 2 when B.net had the .net framework put on the site this for some reason reset my registered date (something all B.net members are proud of). After all you want THOSE bragging rights more than any!!! So with whatever changes are made dont forget Bugie and 343, the journey is just as important as the destination and we are ALL coming with you!!!
-
Brilliant! I look forward to it. :)
Posted by: sawnose See you starside!
Okay, thanks for the notification.

Yellow text makes my eyes hurt.
Posted by: sawnose Now for the tech details: On 3/31, Bungie.net will stop synchronizing with your Halo file share. Plan to use your render minutes before then. We can continue to host your screenshots and rendered videos created before the transition date, but as always, you should download these to your own computer because we don't guarantee hosting them forever.
I see the halo 3 and odst stats are gone :( I dont like going to 343 because their site is harder to navigate than this.

I love letters... its a dying art
