Halo 2 Anniversary
I just want to see if any other halo fans would like this.
Why is the first halo only being remade and not halo 2 as well? I couldn't care less if you can switch back to what the gameplay looked like 10 years ago if that made room for halo 2's campaign. I think the disc should be just called Halo Anniversary and it should include halo 1 and 2's campaigns and maps.
What are your thoughts?

No First of all, there's no need. CEA is only being made to celebrate ten years and reward true halo veterans who havr played every game. Also, halo 2s graphics aren't that bad, no need for a graphics revampe Second, i personally think it is a letdown and a poorly made game undeserving of a remake

Yes a hd remake would be good, but I would be happy with it on Xbox arcade with xbox live back on it.

Since Microsoft wants a whole "One Halo-thing per year", my thought as to how the future timeline plays out is as follows: 2011-Halo: CE: Anniversary 2012-Halo 4 2013-Halo 5 2014-Halo 6 2015-Halo 2 Anniversary (H2 was released in 2005) But that's just my thought...

They're remaking CE because that's where Reach ends, and some people don't know what happens in it because they started with Halo 3 on the 360, and when the 360 came out they no longer sold copies of any of their games except at used games stores. I tried to sell my original but nowhere would buy it. You have to find individual people to sell it to/ buy it from.

i dont think so, they are remaking halo ce to get a name for themselfs, even tho its the same game from 10 years ago and all it is just a graphis layer being used and reach's mp. and if they remade a halo 2 then people will want a halo 3 make. so they arnt doing it to remake it for us, but for 343i to get a name for themselfs before they make their halo games.

well, halo combat evolved has been updated (which it really needed to) now, the only different thing between halo reach and combat evolved, is that your created spartan u dont play as in the campaign

CE was the start of it all. It revolutionized FPS games and was the start of Halo. H2 was what made xbox live it is today, further revolutionizing FPS and competitive gaming. It would deserve a remake, along side that fact CE and 2 were the only 2 not on 360 and the only 2 not online anymore. H3 and onward wouldn't need remakes, they are already online over the 360 and good/decent graphics. [Edited on 07.20.2011 7:09 AM PDT]

No further than halo 2 should be remade because halo 3 has better graphics than halo 1 and 2.
