Awesome. I'm loving this step-by-step on what we'll be able to do. And whoa, loadout-cam! So is that, like, when you're choosing your spawn location, the view of the location you get is however the camera is configured? [Edited on 07.29.2010 2:19 PM PDT]

This series is a great showcasing of Forge 2.0's features. I am very excited about the loadout camera. That's awesome. Will we be able to change [i]where[/i] we want to respawn (like we could in Invasion, we had some locations plus our battle bro)? Or is that an Invasion-only feature?

Seriously, the map is shaping up great, I'd love to see it with the game and included in matchmaking. A map from each Forge World are would be pretty neat.

Urk, awesome article. One question: Will we have access to the ORANGE walls in Forge, i.e., the ones in Invasion maps that blocked off sections of the map before they were available to us? I'm curious as to what kind of walls we can use that will not kill someone but that will simply block people from going through them without actually using an object, in otherwords, can we create spaces with the orange walls in any size or shape? Thanks!

I like how the loadout camera is literally a camera. In a truly literal world Spawn points would show a little holographic salmon and man cannons would be shaped like actual cannons. Now THAT would be cool...I think.

I'm wondering if maybe on one side of that map you shouldn't put a tunnel structure most of the way to blue spawn. If you are looking at the map from behind red, put it on the far right side walkway. I'm thinking that there could be some intense firefights had within. This is of course coming from someone who has never forged a map, ever. Also, I'm wondering if maybe in matchmaking we could have an "Action Sack" style playlist where we play user created maps. They would of course go through approval, but once they are accepted they get added to the rotation. They could be any gametype. [Edited on 07.29.2010 2:34 PM PDT]

I'm not Urk, but I'm going to take an educated stab at this one. I think the walls you are referring to are "laser" walls. If the ForgeWorld video was any indication, we will have access to them.
