Please Help US Troops!!!!
I know that this thread is going to get locked out. I might even get blacklisted for this, but I don't care.
Some of you maybe aware that there is a site gaining national attention called forsakethetroops.net This site basically says that all US soldiers, sailors and Marines are scum. And, worse that the US soldiers who died in combat anywhere deserved to die. These people on that site keep a running tally of how many people die in Iraq. Then when someone does pass away they ridicule them and their families.
These horrible people are out for profit. But, on their own page they have said that if they get 300,000 posts in one month they'd take the site down. That site is a travesty, and needs to be stopped.
I'm asking everyone in this forum to take two minutes of their lives and post a response asking these people to take down their site. If you go to the index page of forsakethetroops.net about halfway down you'll find an ad saying "Stop This Site" or something like that. Just click that link, and make a post.
This is something that the entire Bungie community can get behind. Tell your friends, post similar threads in anyother forum on any other site you visit. Please help keep the memories of American soldiers alive.
And, to the ninjas: I know you're supposed to delete this thread..... but please have a heart and let some people see it first.
And, to Bungie: I challenge you to lead the charge.... your community is huge. You could help make this happen.

People have the right to be -blam!-s! I'm cynical about the war and the reasons for it but that site seems to be having a go at the common soldier who is always suffering at the sharp end of politicans desicions.Seems pointlessly cruel to bring their familys in to it as well. Just sorry for the troops out there from my country(UK) and the US. Its happened to fast with to little thought but it has to succeed, I dont even want to think about the consequences if we fail and wind up with another afganistan. Just hope the politicans dont fudge an exit strategy and leave it to all fall apart. Not all coalition troops have behaved beyond reproach both British and American. But for the most part the troops are just doing what their told and trained to do. If you want to have a go at someone save it for the politicans whose idea it was in the 1st place!! That website is vile but both our countrys have a tradition of free speech that is worth protecting(yours in the 1st amendment in your constitution). Use your right tell them whether you are for or againts the war, but most importantly let them know what a bunch of crass insensitve and downright cruel -blam!-s you think they are. Sorry for that rant but seeing that site really made me feel sorry for everyone American, British or Iraqi( civilians particualy) who has been killed or maimed in that war.

Or, everyone could ignore the website, thus robbing them of the advertising money that they want, the publicity they don't deserve, and the massive hit count you are proposing we give them. They idiots of the world, like these guys, are too stupid for us to bother giving a -blam!- about them, their website, or thair "controversy". They are just attention whores. Ignore them.
