New CoD multiplayer trailer came out today, as most of you probably know. Every thread about it in #Gaming got bombed with "lolcod" and "unoriginal pos." The trailer actually looked mildly interesting, but people just said the same things. It's actually kind of funny that the responses were less original than the game itself. I guess people in #Gaming are just as much blind fanboys as the Desticles. Sad but true.

EDIT: Already I'm seeing many more reasonable and unbiased opinions from #Offtopic. Well done guys.

1 回复Honestly, my problem is more with the community then with the repetitive gameplay and bad balancing. I will admit I didn't go into the reveal expecting anything ground breaking or earth shattering, if anything that would have been welcomed but I probably still wouldn't buy the game. Although I do respect Microsoft for getting the boring/niche stuff out of the way before the Gamecom press event.

I saw they have a new gametype very similar to Halo 4's Ricochet gametype. But they called it a satellite, rather than a ball. I think this Call of Duty will be better in some ways and worse in others. The more advanced movement will definitely allow for more interesting maps and overall gameplay. However, that crazy movement also calls for increased aim-assist on all weapons, larger explosions, and probably longer range shotguns.

6 回复I think people have a love-hate relationship with CoD. :3 I mean the MP is fun, yet shitty at some times. Same with SP.

3 回复I know so many stereotypical people who think cod is stupid just cause other people do

由Mobi编辑: 8/11/2014 10:29:07 PMThe last CoD games I really liked were CoD 4 and MW2. After that the series just didn't appeal to me any more. Advanced Warfare looks fun, but I don't think a CoD game could ever make me feel excited again like the way Destiny or the MCC does.

3 回复CoD doesn't innovate. Devs said they don't want to innovate too much. That's why people call it an unoriginal piece of shit. Because it is. Because if they innovate and change, the CoD fanbase is gonna shit a brick. Every time CoD tries to change and mix up the formula, or shows something mildly interesting... it just ends up feeling half-assed. I'm sure the short development cycle has something to do with it, but I know that's not all it is.

1 回复Cod is one of those games you don't give a shit about but just play the multiplayer because it's fun every now and then.
