The titans are front line infantry not vanguards sorry, Going by what bungie said the vanguard are researchers that study the traveler, different races and planets .

Do you have anything to back that up? Because the definition of Vanguard doesn't fit with your description at all. And IMO, the way Bungie said it, it makes them sound more like powerful scouts (a Vanguard) and not... researchers. Also if you read through the rest of the thread (there's not really that much) you will see that I changed my mind, and now I'm saying that Vanguard will be more of a Title/Upgrade than a Class in itself.

yea i looked more into it and from what i can dig up the vanguard are elite infantry like titan is the warrior but the vanguard is the battle hardened vet lol so if i had to guess i reckon that what ever class you pick has ranks like if you pick titan you maybe start at Guardian then warlord and so on all the way to vanguard but thats just a guess.
