If EA owned Pokemon, you'd only have the option of 2 starter Pokemon and the third would be a Gamestop pre-order bonus.

In those games you have Pokemon that are non catch able in each game. So the counter parts like Red and Blue. Even though both games have the same Pokemon Red has ones that can't be caught in Blue and it's vice versa for Blue. So the only way to have all the Pokemon is to either hack it, trade with people or buy the games that are like Crystal. That really kills the whole point of "Catch them all" when you can't even do that in the games.

If EA owned Pokemon, you'd need to buy an online pass in order to play Pokemon the way it's meant to be played. God, I hate EA.
