Sunsingers
Sorry, Bungie ruined everything fun about it. Nothing special anymore. Flame Shield? Nerf. Solar Wind? Nerf. Firebolts? Nerf. Viking funeral? Useless change. Gift of the Sun when two of your three grenades can be doubled with exotics? Logic. Fireborn duration? Here, throw 5 grenades for your super and have a OHKO melee. Real supery. Song of Flame? Who cares about teammates cooldowns? Sunburst? Oh boy, I generate an orb on melee kill! Sorry, was that too much salt?

1 回复Solar wind wasn't nerfed. It just never worked. Firebolts are now the slowest, smallest, least damaging bolt nade and grenade in general.

I still run sunsinger in the crucible for the fusion Grenades with starfire protocol, but I don't use the super, I use Skorri and Tlaloc when I get my super. But Skorri is going to be useless soon too, so I guess I'll be going back to voidwalker.

6 回复Sunsinger subclass in not something to marvel at, self-res radiance was nerfed to be extremely short, most people who still use it as a perk are killed before they can even get out of the animation, the special nerf compounded this because now instead of being able to res behind a group and go to work with a shotty, you loose your special so now you have to get it done with a 6 second super. The only viable melee is scorch shield, and that took a nerf so now you have to tiptoe around in pvp to avoid melee battles because of a .3 second proc on the shield, then just to kick scorch shield users in the nuts the cool down was increased. the subclass is really not in a good spot. Git gud with fusion grenades and use radiant skin is about the only option anymore. I want to pick my own play style and I get one that works and it's nerfed into submission.

2 回复According to Bungie, they were making for some frustrating encounters. You know what's really frustrating? Not separating pvp and PvE balancing.

Yep, I was fine with some tweaks to burn, it was a bit ridiculous. But hell man, let's just nerf everything good two or three times over. It's still a good subclass.... if you don't depend on your super, grenades or melee to help you out.

4 回复The only time I use Sunsinger now is for Raiding for the Fireborn utility and Fusion spam for high DPS on Bosses.
