So as part of an agreement I made with myself, after the Christmas break I was going to join a gym with some of the lads from university, so that I can get back into shape and progress even further with my fitness.
However, I'm ashamed to say it's been over six months since my last proper workout, so I'm back to square zero. I can still squat like a machine, but everything else? Kaputt.
Any gym tips for starting off? I've never been to a proper one before; always done fitness as a group in my college classes. Not interested in diet changes or anything, FYI.

2 回复If you won't change your diet, you're going to see minimal gains. Diet's even more important than lifting, really. People refusing to change their diet is why you see people who've been going the gym for years and look like they've only been going for months. Eat right or don't bother.

3 回复Depends on what your goals are. Are you skinny trying to get huge? Fat trying to be skinny? Fat trying to be huge?

5 回复Dammit, we lost the working out thread. There's a group somewhere about all things fitness.

2 回复I bought a monthly pass at my recreation centre but so far I'm just mainly running on the track I'm too afraid to go to the gym part by myself because I'd probably make myself look retarded as I have never lifted weights before.

I workout daily, but just today I realized something I could have always been doing. ... Lift while I watch youtube. I have some [light] weights next to me right now. I just lift them while I watch a video. I've been doing that in between Bnet posts for the last few hours. So I feel you, bro. Workouts are good. More power to you!
