[b]My Plate:[/b]
I am currently working on a game. Its based in the Halo universe and is a mix of RTS/RPG and Strategy.
It has 2 parts to it; a web based component for managing your Army, upgrades and interacting with other players and then a Unity3D client/web player which is launched and used for missions which are small RTS moments where a player uses their units to complete goals..

I'm a high school junior, and have been programming c++ for 4 years now, I think. The closest thing to a game I've made with c++ is a magic 8-ball (I'm not big on programming graphics). I'm now suffering through a rudimentary Java course (so. freaking. boring.) in school, and am trying to get together a team of the AP students to work on a game-like-program. I have been using Unity3D on a game with a friend who bailed on me and took the entire concept with him, since I have no idea what any of it was about. I'd love to get together with some people who are familiar with the Unity3D engine and make something (anything, please. I need something to do in my free time.) post scribitum, I'm really caffeinated right now, and apologize for rambling on.

3 回覆I'm currently trying to gather as much information as I can on original Xbox develoment, as I had an idea for quite an original game and I just recently ran into an Xbox Debug kit so I thought that it would be interesting to try.

2 回覆Still working on my game, got basic controls but I need way to convert them to console controls, I also made a head model, grass texture and a weapon or two.

1 回覆由Porsche 914編輯： 1/26/2014 11:11:32 PMRight now between work in school I'm trying to fix and improve my 1994 Celica and my 1973 Porsche 914. My celica is close to being done. I have all the appearance stuff, JDM parts, and electrics sorted out. What's left is upgrading/rebuilding my suspension and braking systems. Then put in a lower mileage engine, and swap a manual into it. I may do a cams and full intake and exhaust to it. My 914 needs a lot more work. Yesterday I finally put on the new rear shocks and springs. The next thing I need to do is to redo all the brake and misc suspension stuff such as ball joints and put on my front struts. I'll probably fix the small body and interior niggles, and give it a good tune up and have a niceish car i can drive. Later down the road when I have more money I want to upgrade the brakes, and suspension and drop in a WRX motor and a better transmission.

1 回覆Haven't posted much in this group, but figured I'd start. Education: I received a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton. Decent school, good education program. Career: I currently work for a consulting firm and I am contracted with the Air Force to do programming with air combat simulation. I mostly use Fortran and Matlab to program, but every once in a while I do a small bit of C. Projects: I have a lot of hobbies, so my turn over rate is a bit slow. I enjoy firearms, cars, electronics, computers, and gaming. Currently, I've just finished a heated jacket for my girlfriend and am currently teaching myself Python so I can program my Raspberry Pi I recently got. I have several cool projects in mind for it, one of which is to integrate the computer into my truck, with a cellular link to communicate with it remotely. Since the truck is older, a 1995 GMC Sierra, I can easily integrate the computer into the vehicle, pulling data and even turning it into a remote start. More on that when it gets warmer though!

8 回覆Im the 2D artist for Stronghold Crusader 2,so UI concept art and all that, want to get an app made with a few of my workmates but that is time :) generally do medieval based stuff so maybe challenge with a scifi based game. Hi :)

Already provided an update to my stuff - but happened back in here and saw the update to the post. Glad to hear things worked out with your project and that things are moving along nicely. Looks as though the scope is even expanding. Congrats!

3 回覆I'm surprised 343i gave you their blessing for this. Halo Wars was actually based on a stand alone mod which being made by some guys, but MS came down on it. Be careful.
