Xivu Arath or Savathun will be seen at some point, especially now that Oryx is dead, the tithing has to go somewhere and since Oryx isnt there to receive it anymore I bet its all going to one of the other 2 sisters or maybe both making them much much stronger than they ever were, I could see them both coming together in a dlc for a dual boss fight.

I fell in for the hype of Destiny's release. took the gut punch and continued strolling right along. fell for the "season pass" that ended up being just two sections of the base game that were cut so that they could be sold back to us. took the glancing uppercut to the chin and continued strolling right along. then the rest of the chunky animal soup of troubles that came to light over the course of the proceeding 2 and 1/2 years (whatever you consider your troubles to be, some of mine are; no MM for certain activities, dropped connections to server, weapon nerfs running rampant, no clear story/have to leave game to read Grimoire cards to piece together anything, the lack of character indentity/purpose including Faction, inability to truly explore as advertised and stuck in grinding, small circles of play that randomly get cut {yeah, remember the Loot Cave?!}) - but I digress... I took the kidney shot like a boss and continued strolling right along... ALMOST FORGOT TO MENTION HAVING GEAR THAT I PURCHASED FROM EVERVERSE THAT WAS STORED IN MY VAULT JUST DISAPPEARING!! what was Bungie's response, silence. a moderator tried to get me to believe that I might have accidentally deleted it. but that wouldn't make sense because you could always delete items to clear inventory space (before we were given more vault space) and the loot could be picked up again from it's respective vendor stash. NOW loot that is not "refundable" has a byline at the bottom of it's description saying that if you delete it you have permanently lost it. yeah, i'd still like my money back, fools. don't get me wrong, I really enjoy playing the game for all of the excitement that I get out of it. the great gun play and the plethora of events to run off and complete every day... and your post is a fantastic idea, for generating the beginnings of a saga that we would all probably greatly enjoy... but if you get the idea out there ahead of the release of the game, Dunkin to Doughnuts you are going to give Activision the green light to continue cheesing the consumer on delivering a complete and finished game... basically, what you are telling them right now is that you don't care about having a polished experience delivered to you on release, you will buy a chopped up story, again, and continue throwing money at your screen despite the fact that no sane player, EVER, has ever desired to be sold rubbish. wow, this response came out of left field. the facts are the facts, though. sadly. and while I still enjoy being a Beta player to present day Legend, it was one HELL of a road getting here. at my own expense. #nomoreDLC #makeDestinygreatagain #ilikepancakes

I really hope the cabal and taken don't come around for a long time. It's really bad when the cabal are taken.

Interesting notion... the connection is there. If the Cabal come around in force for Destiny 2, I think we're looking brand new aspects to the game. By this I mean Cabal infantry battles are pretty static in makeup. Shield guys, bullet sponges, some flayers sprinkled here and there. The engagements aren't terribly... well, engaging. You can get up close with a shottie or fusion but really Cabal are made for sniping. But they tease at big tanks and planet-crushing space capabilities.... Could this be an opening for enhanced vehicle combat? Tank battles? Space battles? Yes, please. Or could we be looking at some changes to how CQB behaves? Either way, I hope a Cabal focus will bring about some interesting additions to the game. A new/refreshed Hive presence would be nice, too!

I don't think we could survive against another hive god. Yes, we did kill Oryx, but remember the awoken? They destroyed his entire fleet, thus making it so we could go straight to the dreadnaught instead of fighting our way through every single ship. Not to mention that his army would have been much larger. But this time, we don't have the awoken, so the only thing that could save us is an alliance with another race or maybe Rasputin?

The Cabal are boring though. There really isn't much to them at all and the Hive are becoming old. I understand that they're quite literally our arch nemesis, but they are almost always the same in the end. The Siva Fallen arc was interesting. The Vex are kind of boring primarily because they are just constant. I hope in the sequel the City has learned from Siva, Eris and the Dark and studied abd created a less detrimental form of Siva, which could create a technology boom while also applying some teachings of the Dark to the Light because the Hive knew how to be strong. The Guardians should learn how to better use the Light. Idk

Cabal invasion might be a start but the hive are almost finished all the top rank characters are now dead but the fallen from the plaguelands might pose as a threat if the hive in the cosmodrome suddenly disappears from the area and the spices decide to turn on house devils & house kings that only leaves the taken which share the same fate as the hive so that means that leaves a vacuum for a new enemy to rise up.

I think a cool idea for the main antagonist would be Toland the shattered, we find out that the traveler took his ghost and abandoned him because he somehow discovered the travelers true intentions

Hold up I just realised something, oryx was actually a chick and the darkness made him a dude so he's basically reverse bruce jenner which means the hive are actually the jenners and kardashians. Evil beings of pure darkness out to destroy humanity... yep sounds about right.

As long as they buff Hawkmoon, I don't care if Xivu shows up for no reason.
