sapphirecommunity.com Sapphire is one of the longest-living and most famous communities on Bungie, with a history spanning over six years (this is not our first forum!), millions of posts, and so many in-jokes we had to create our own history archive to help us remember them all. Then we got tired of Bungie mistreating private groups and made our own website. Come and see what has made Sapphire the choice hangout for thousands of people since 2009 at sapphirecommunity.com

Iran One Month Away From Nuclear Breakout
Iran could produce enough weapons-grade uranium to build a nuclear bomb in as little as a month, according to a new estimate by one of the USA's top nuclear experts. The new assessment comes as the White House invited Senate staffers to a briefing on negotiations with Iran as it is trying to persuade Congress not to go ahead with a bill to stiffen sanctions against Iran. "Shortening breakout times have implications for any negotiation with Iran," stated the report by the Institute for Science and International Security. "An essential finding is that they are currently too short and shortening further."
Essentially, this means a short-term is harder to achieve given Iran's progress on their nuclear program. Arguably, the only way to curb their advancements (to an extent) is to impose new rounds of sanctions; however, the White House is lobbying Congress to refrain from doing so, stating "diplomatic efforts need more time". Your thoughts on the new report? Your thoughts on the upcoming new rounds of talks with Iran? Your thoughts on the Iranian nuclear program in general?
