you don't need a bunch I 31's.... stop
To everyone saying you need a team of 31's, no you don't. You need one for the relic and the rest can be 30's if you have even a decent squad. Beat the raid twice yesterday, second time we only had one 31, the rest including myself a 30 and we beat it in 5mins and 18seconds. So stop shunning out the good 30's who don't want to waste time and shards on 33 gear and start to work together and beat the raid. Get a ghorn or truth, an icebreaker or 2 and you're done. It's honestly easier than VOG with the right team working together. The destiny community seems to be full of people looking to get carried.

After you got past the lamps, you have a chance of landing yourself a Raid gear. This part you DON'T NEED all high level players. The level 29 can use the Raid gear or buy an extra arm/leg to get to level 30 for Swordbearer part. So don't cast the level 29s out. Having full VOG raid gear set doesn't mean this person is superior than a level 29 who has no luck in VOG but has respect for other people (doesn't trash talk) and is a great team player!
