My question to atheist is how can you go threw life knowing that when you die there is nothing and your just gone.

Nobody has claimed there is nothing after death. Being an atheist simply means rejecting the notion of a higher power (God in this case). What happens after death does not rely upon his/her existence. Take Cartesian Dualism for example; despite its many flaws, it postulates a separate mind and body, the mind being non-reliant upon corporeal existence. Therefore, by this virtue, the mid can live on after death in one state or another. Now of course, there have been many who disagree with Dualism, but this is just one of many logical ways in which there could be something else after death.

Very easily. I don't fear death or what happens after. I'm curious, but I'm not going to blindly follow a false prophet that spews religious crap when 95% of wars are from defending ones "peaceful and loving (G)god"

I agree I don't know what will happen but I'm not worried. To the well structured mind death is but the next great adventure. I also just don't see spending forever in the same place all based on weather or not you believe in something or don't.

1) Wrong "through" 2) I, unlike you, do not patronize the human intellect. I think that people can handle the probability of nothing after death. It also drives us to live our life to the fullest, because we are sure that there will be nothing after we die.

By taking advantage of the life you have. Just because atheists don't use fear and hope as a crutch doesn't mean they would do anything counterproductive to that life. I personally don't need anyone to tell me not to kill myself, nor not to kill others of my species for indecent reasons. It's as simple as accepting the situation and enjoying the fact that you can impact known reality; even if it isn't eternal, it's a hell of a lot more than nothing.

Oh silly, don't you realise that your not important within the next 100 or so years you will be forgotten, in the next 4 million years humanity will be forgotten, in the next 2 billion earth will be forgotten The point I'm trying to get across here is no matter how hard you try you will be forgotten and it will mean nothing even if you did invent light speed travel!. So enjoy life!

It's okay. Jesus won't become less of a god if you say thay. Actually, you can say that to anyone, your family, friends, a carrot, whatnot, and they will not become less of a family, friends, carrot, and whatnot. Though, I am a little concerned why you would use your last breaths for those words instead of saying a warm farewell to your loved ones. If it makes your death more comfortable, then so be it, I guess.

Obviously when I get closer to death I will be depressed and think about i (as with anyone religious or not) but you asked how I can go though life Im doing just fine, it is pointless to worry about death and the after life now.
