I've been thinking about this one for a while. If the rumors are true and that the next raid is harder with enemies of higher levels, then the new raid gear will get you that lvl 32 right?
But wouldn't that mean you basically have to "pay to win"? At least to where iron banner/trials of Osiris is concerned. I have not played MMOs or games that have expansions like this one so I don't know how other games do it. Ideas?

5 回覆The thing about pay to win is it means you buy something with cash directly. Think of pay to win like buying food at a store. They charge u for what u get. Dlc is more like going to a sports event and having to buy a ticket to get in

I'd say it's just pay to play, pay to win is like buying items to boost you above everyone else instantly. Dlc you are paying to play more which will eventually get you the better gear as most mmo's don't start till end game.

if it's with the DLC then it would basically be the same kind of deal as with fallout and borderlands, only those with the DLC have access to the higher level because they are the ones who need it pay to win is more if motes of light and strange coins were buy able currency - $10 for 30 strange coins

5 回覆Not exactly. WoW increases level cap, gear, and raid difficulty with every expansion if I'm not mistaken. So if you consider that pay to win, then sure.

3 回覆Just wait, not to be rude but Bungie hasn't even addressed what is final for the DLC. Leaks can be very different from the final product.

3 回覆The Dark Below raid is lvl28 with a level 32 hard mode and will only be accessible to those who purchase the DLC. As you need to buy the DLC to play the new content then it is not pay to win (pay to win usually means purchasing powerful gear with money ie. buying a full set of legendary raid gear for say £15)
