Just like how you had no clue who the Prophets or Tartarus were. You have to introduce characters somehow, yeah?

They were explained along with their title so you had an idea of what their role is. Check Halo 4 again it just gives you names and no explanation. As if your expected to know who they are before you play. Something I picked up on first time through and had to explain to friends who never read or watched the terminals. Like for example Captain Del Rio (even though he is an idiot) just mentions never having this kind of offensive reaction before from other installations, but never asks once who the Didact is. Bit retarded as he just attacked Infinity. Only bad thing I picked up on really.

[/quote]Del Rio's understanding of who the Didact is in Reclaimer's closing cutscene is more than evident that we did not witness everything to occur on Infinity, we only saw the key moments most relevant to advancing the narrative.
